A front door to The Local Core
How a record earns trust: claims, review and permanent history.
Listed: the record exists. Claimed: an owner's claim was approved. Verified: a reviewer account confirmed the record's facts. Each status is separate, and one never implies the next.
An owner submits a claim or verification request. A different account reviews it and records a decision. Nobody approves their own submission.
Each record shows its current status. Every decision is kept permanently as history; a later decision adds to that history rather than replacing it.
The system enforces that the approving account differs from the submitting account. That does not by itself prove two different people reviewed it; independent human review is established only when separate people operate those accounts.
Verification says facts about a record were checked. Whether the record appears on a destination is a separate decision, made by separate approvals. A verified record is not automatically published.
Verification is a view of The Local Core's shared registry and its decision history. This site owns no records or decisions of its own.
